A new chapter in local public transport in Harghita County was opened with the signing of the contract for the acquisition of ten ATP Bus electric buses and fourteen charging stations. Thus, by the spring of next year, ten electric buses produced by ATP Trucks Automobile will be able to transport passengers throughout the entire metropolitan area.
“When we talk about urban development, we refer to the entire region. We are building a sustainable living environment together. We started from scratch, as there was no constituted metropolitan area in the county. The first step was to create the institutional framework. Mobility is an essential component of this cooperation and, today, we mark an important milestone,” stated the Mayor of Miercurea Ciuc, Mr. Korodi Attila.
